Fee strategy
Whether a fee may be passed to a client depends on your contract, platform rules, card-network requirements, and applicable law. The calculator shows arithmetic, not permission.
A fixed transaction charge creates a higher effective percentage on small payments. Consolidating milestones may reduce fee drag when commercially appropriate.
Adding the stated percentage to a desired net amount is slightly insufficient. The gross-up formula divides by one minus the total percentage fee.
